Safety

The CWR-F2 visor, newly developed for SHOEI NXR2, with two-dimensional shaping, allows a distortion-free and very natural vision. Reinforcements on the upper and lower edge of the visor increase torsional rigidity.

The locking mechanism now positioned in the center prevents unintentional opening of the visor. The visor can be changed and adjusted quickly and without tools thanks to a further developed mechanism of the previous model.

The widened anti-fog PINLOCK®EVO lens included with the helmet allows a clear view over a large part of the usable field of view, even in difficult weather conditions, thanks to the mounting pins positioned far back

The chin strap with double D closure is easily adjustable and holds the helmet securely in place

In an emergency, the cheek pads can be easily removed for gentle helmet removal thanks to the EQRS (Emergency Quick Release System).

Comfort

5 different outer shell sizes (XXS-S | M | L | XL-XXL | XXXL) make the NXR2 a compact and lightweight sports helmet with a wide range of sizes. Its low weight relieves the neck muscles and thus reduces the effect of fatigue, both in sports use on the track and on long tours.

The three-dimensionally shaped central padding, the pre-shaped cheek pads and the lining of the chin strap are completely removable and washable. The slightly textured but soft and quick-drying lining materials reduce the friction of the pads on the skin and ensure a comfortable feel.

The newly developed cheek pads make it easier to put on and take off the helmet. Thanks to the bulkier underside, they reduce noise exposure for the cyclist. Head and cheek pads are available in different thicknesses for individual helmet adjustment. (Optional)

Removable ear cushions effectively contribute to noise reduction.
The notches in the ear area allow you to connect an intercom system. (Optional)

Ventilation

The 6 air intakes and 4 air outlets of the SHOEI NXR2 are connected via a branched ventilation system inside the helmet shell and significantly reduce the temperature and humidity inside the helmet. amount of fresh air for the rider without increasing the noise level.

The result is a pleasant internal climate of the helmet for concentrated and fatigue-free driving, both during sporty driving on the track and during motorcycle trips in hot countries.

The sliding guides of the ventilation slots are easy to adjust even when wearing gloves.

Aerodynamics
The integrated spoiler in the back of the head stabilizes the helmet at higher speeds. The compact and aerodynamically optimized design of the SHOEI NXR2 further reduces its wind resistance and tendency to lift from the already low values ​​of the previous model. This effectively relieves the rider's neck muscles and reduces the effect of fatigue even on longer rides.
Vortex generators on the edges of the visor and a newly developed visor edging minimize the generation of noise in the visor area.

Accessories

The helmet is equipped with a standard CWR-F2 transparent visor, available as an option also in smoked, mirrored and photochromic (self-coloring) versions. All visors of this type can be equipped with PINLOCK®EVO anti-fog lenses, one of which is included in the helmet.

In the range of SHOEI accessories, cheek pads and central pads are available in different sizes and thicknesses to replace the original pads or to individually adjust the helmet. A chin strap, breath guard and chin guard are also available.

The SHOEI NXR2 comes with a PINLOCK®EVO lens for use with the standard CWR-F2 visor and spare pins.
Also included are a nose guard, a chin curtain, SHOEI logo stickers, an original SHOEI helmet bag for safe helmet storage and silicone oil to maintain the visor seal and mechanism.
