This area is further reinforced with a metal rod and is reinforced in the tip area for impact and abrasion resistance.
• Equipped with a medial and lateral double pivot system to improve levels of flexibility and precision control.
• Dedicated design on the lateral wall to improve the feel, support and grip on the bike while increasing protection and durability of the boot.
• The new TPU shaped calf protection plate offers effective impact resistance.
• The main boot flex is supported around the medial and lateral ankle by a low profile pivot system for superior freedom of movement and rider comfort.
• The front bending zone features new innovative shock-absorbing inserts in the front bellows area for progressive support.
• Shock absorbing padding is also strategically positioned on the ankles and tibia plate to increase impact absorption.
• The new belt support design offers maximum rotation and functionality while reducing over-rotation.
• The sole is made with an innovative wear indicator incorporated in the area of the footrest. This layer shows a red layer that warns the rider when the sole is worn out and needs to be replaced.
• The boot structure under the wear indicator is surrounded by a layer of Kevlar® that maintains the structure and integrity of the boot while also protecting it.
• The upper features a wide TPU protection on fingers, foot, heel, ankle, calf and shin with extra hard compounds on the toe and heel for increased impact resistance and abrasion.
• Suede upper with a lightweight microfiber construction for superior impact and abrasion resistance.
• Additional TPU back bridge to protect the Achilles tendons.
• Featuring a poly-woven lining with 3D open cell foam and non-slip suede reinforcement in the heel area for added abrasion resistance.
• The sole is made of a high-strength, dual-compound vulcanized rubber for durability and protection. The sole is replaceable.
• The Tech 7 boots are CE certified according to EN 13634:2017.
