CRASH MONITORING TECHNOLOGY AND PERFORMANCE

• Alpinestars' crash detection activation algorithm has been developed and refined with millions of miles of driving data and thousands of crashes, allowing the system to accurately assess when to deploy the airbag before an impact or other dangerous situation like a crash down or up.
• In the event that Tech-Air® 3 detects the onset of an accident, the system inflates the protective airbag in 50 milliseconds. The state-of-the-art Tech-Air® wearable system crash detection algorithm uses artificial intelligence to precisely monitor when to deploy the airbag in the event of an accident.
• Tech-Air® 3 incorporates 6 integrated sensors (3 accelerometers (1 triaxial accelerometer) and 3 gyroscopes (1 triaxial gyroscope)) to provide the best performance of crash monitoring and active airbag protection in a variety of dynamic driving scenarios on road, and even when stopped at a traffic light, for example.

PROTECTION

• In the event of a direct impact of the motorcycle with another vehicle or obstacle, the Tech-Air® 3 System is effective for the "first impact", which means that the System inflates before hitting the vehicle or the obstacle against the which the motorcycle will have the direct impact. Upper body protection keeps riders safer by uniquely covering the rider's entire chest and back. Plus, the integrated back protector pocket on the back can accommodate additional passive back protection if desired.

OPERATING STATUS OF THE SYSTEM

• An LED display on the front of the chest indicates the operational status of the airbag system and incorporates a tactile alert, which vibrates to confirm that the system is armed, as well as alerting the rider when the battery is running low.
• Bluetooth connectivity to a Tech-Air® app allows system operational and battery status monitoring and trip mapping via MyRide APP.
