The MAB M1 model is equipped with the same advanced airbag technology as the MAB V4, including the Fast Lock accident detection system with an analog accelerometer.

– Rear airbag for full-width back protection, sacral and cervical area. MAB v3 is certified AIRBAG EN1621/4 FB Level 2. Residual force after impact test 1.4 kN (Level 1 AIRBAG limit = 4.5 kN; Level 2 AIRBAG limit = 2.5 kN)

– Front airbag for chest, abdomen, and neck protection. AIRBAG certified EN1621/4 DC Level 2. Residual force after impact test 0.8 kN (Level 1 AIRBAG limit = 4.5 kN; Level 2 AIRBAG limit = 2.5 kN)

Fast Lock technology to fully and reliably manage accident recognition

Fast Lock is connected to the synchronization system that activates the airbag closest to the impact situation. For example, in the case of a frontal impact, the front airbag is activated first and the rear one a few milliseconds later. For rear-end collisions, the rear airbag is activated first, followed by the front one. In any case, both airbags are activated

The vest has loops that allow Fast Lock to protrude from the vest

MAB is equipped with an anti-accidental activation system: before activating the airbag system, it is necessary to extend the cable, overcome the elastic recoil force of Fast Lock, and apply a load of 15 kg. A small sticker is also included to place on the dashboard as a reminder during the first uses

Fast Lock is compatible with the Mini Frog miniaturized quick release system
